Yes, OutlookŪ Express and Outlook XP or later are compatible with MSN Dial-up e-mail. However, Outlook 2000, 98 and 97 are not. What are Parental Controls and how do I set them up?
Parental Controls set limits, control access and monitor your kids' activities online in order to help keep them safer. You can choose which Web sites they can access, select with whom they are allowed to communicate and stay informed with a weekly report of their activities online.
In order to set up Parental Controls, the primary MSN Dial-up account holder must sign in to MSN. Then under "Help and Settings," choose "Member Accounts and Billing," then choose "Add a Secondary Account." (You can add up to 10 users). Then customize the parental controls settings for each user through an easy, guided process.
Can a child use a different browser to get around parental control settings?
No. If a parent turns on content control in Web-based programs, then a child will not be able to use another browser on that PC to get around the settings.
